Interagency Committees with USDA Representation
Federal Fleet Policy Council (FedFleet) Representatives from federal agencies or activities, at the national level, that manage and operate federal motor vehicle fleets. The General Services Administration Office of Governmentwide Policy is the sponsoring agency. FedFleet meets quarterly to coordinate Federal vehicle management programs and policies, review new technologies and automated systems, and analyze the impact of current and proposed regulations, laws, Executive Orders, and international agreements.
Interagency Committee on Alternative Fuels and Low Emission Vehicles (INTERFUEL) Serves as a forum for discussion of AFV policy issues, promoting inter-agency coordination and cooperation regarding infrastructure support, and information sharing. Chaired by a representative from the Department of Energy and comprised of staff from Federal agencies and sub-agencies with responsibility for AFV programs. Monthly meetings.
Intra-agency Committees
USDA Alternative Fuel and Motor Vehicle Management Working Group Chaired by the Office of Procurement and Property Management and comprised of USDA agency fleet managers. Meetings held periodically as called to share information on policy and planned activities.
Transportation Work Group a component of the Sustainable Operations Council consisting of representatives from USDA agencies with the primary responsibility for fleet management or vehicle energy management within their respective organization. The Working Group provides recommendations to the Council on implementation processes and procedures pertaining to E.O. 13423.
