Michele Lambert became the Director of the Mail and Reproduction Management Division (MRMD) on August 17, 2008.  As the Director, Ms. Lambert is directly responsible for managing and directing a staff that analyzes, develops, evaluates, and promotes improvements in the policies, plans, methods providing mail, courier, copier, duplicating, shredding services to USDA headquarters complex and agencies in the metropolitan area. 

Ms Lambert began her career with the Federal Communications Commission in 1974 as a clerk-stenographer.  She also worked at Andrews Air Force Base and the Office of Special Investigations at Bolling Air Force Base before coming to the Office of Operations, Mail and Reproduction Management Division (MRMD) in January, 1985.  She was hired by MRMD as a Secretary-Stenographer and in 1992 was selected for an upward mobility position as a Management Analyst.  In December 2004, she became the Deputy Director of MRMD.

Ms. Lambert has one daughter that recently graduated from Hampton University School of Pharmacy and is now licensed Pharmacist in Charles County, Maryland.
